Papercutting or paper cutting is the art of paper designs. Art has evolved all over the world to adapt to different cultural styles. One traditional distinction most styles share is that the designs are cut from a single sheet of paper as opposed to multiple adjoining sheets as in collage. These shadow boxes utilize two forms of papercraft, paper cutting and quilling. The layered pieces combine multiple layers of different colored paper. Each cut in exacting detail to combine to form a single, colorful picture. The quilled designs combine cut paper, rolling, and folding to create life like flowers that are then arranged with the same skill we use in our store.
